This is an official website for the book series I've been making.
It revolves around a normal boy named Bruno Ray who goes on crime-solving adventures with his classmates and newly-made friends in his new school. During that time, he discovers something ṣ̨̱̻̖̝̭͓̆̀̕͠͡͠h̪̯̹̖̜͔̝̳̃̂́͂̆͐͒͘͟͞ͅö̡̲̘̣̳̩̥͔͔́̃̏̀̽͊̐́c̦̫̦̰͔̻͚͍͍͂̌̂́͗ͅk̢̨̬̜̫͉̥̘͓̽̅́͠͞ͅĭ͚̫̙̖̭͉̒́̈́̾̅ͅn̢̡͖̪̩̘̘͔͐̎̅̔̀̽̅̉̓͢g̴̢̛̼̼͕̹̒͆͊̊̾͞ about himself.
Currently, I'm working on the first book. Writer's block has been hitting me like a trainwreck, but I'm trying my best to get over it!
Here are the list of books I'm planning to write. It's ambitious, but hey! Sometimes, ambitions can come true, right?

Have fun reading about the colorful cast of extraordinary characters! (get it?) The main protagonist is, of course, our ordinary boy, Bruno Ray. Then there's his best friend and leader of Class 2, Alex Wilson. Alongside the two, we have Bruno's soon-to be close friends, Aster and Blossom. While Bruno is the lead character, other characters certainly get their spotlight!
And let's not forget about Bruno's classmates! They are of Class 2, the main class we'll be following for the story. They are a group of extraordinary people who will be helping Bruno solve some mysterious!
Of course, there are other characters in the series. There's Bruno family, The Ray Family (Ryan, Jaiden and Piper), and Bruno's childhood friend, Moxie. Then there are members of other classes, and of course, Team Toxic, Bruno's future gang of friends!

The book has started being written on October 24, 2012, by me, Ryan Buro! It started off as a Pokemon project, where Pokemon live together in peace in a school. However, once I felt like showcasing this book series off to my friends (who know nothing about Pokemon), I decided to change the Pokemon series into a series with people. Not only that, but I changed its peaceful genre to horror and mystery. Not only am I interested in it, but I believe the people who this book is marketed for (teens my age) are interested in mystery and horror!
Soon enough, I made the first version of the book series on my birthday. Really, I just wanted to write the series out of boredom, but it soon grew into a passion. I came up with thousands of potential series for the book series, yet I had to choose between 13. It was hard to say the least, but I eventually got around to it. I left my more notable yet wacky ideas as extra books that people could enjoy. Currently, I am writing the middle of Book 1. Hopefully, by the summer, I'll finish writing it and begin Book 2! I have lots planned for the rewrite of the books.
These are questions frequently asked by my friends regarding the books.
Some I named them after people I knew or some variations of it. As for others: I picked a name that was suitable for them, or I just pick a name I like. The main four actually went through many name changes, those include the names: Preston, Brian, Richard, Nelly, Peter, Nightshade. I eventually picked Bruno, Alex, Aster and Blossom. Those actually have specific meanings to their names.........
My initial inspiration (with the Pokemon series) is Pokemon Mystery Dungeon. I loved how every Pokemon's personalities matches which Pokemon they are, and I really wanted that for more Pokemon. Eventually, I got my horror and crime inspirations from, well, horror movies. I got into horror sometime before I started writing the books and it really is a big inspiration for my books. The class system aspect is inspired by the clan and house systems of Warrior Cats and Harry Potter specifically! The latter was acknowledged in the book itself, as Hannah (founder of the class system) felt like dividing the classes into something like houses from Harry Potter. The main inspiration, however, is real life. My classmates and especially friends inspired me a lot...
Did you know...
The sun shined bright in the city of New York. Clouds cleared away to make way for their smiling friend. All former lights burned out. An orange sky awoken everyone in the Ray house, except for Bruno. Bruno is known to be a deep sleeper, so it’s not that much of a surprise that this is a case, even for a day such as that.
The window curtains pulled away from the window itself, revealing the sunshine flowing through the glass. It reached so far to Bruno’s bed. Crazily enough, that still didn’t wake Bruno up. He was that deep of a sleeper. Luckily, his mother was there to finish that job.
“Good morning, sweetie”.
Bruno heard the voice but chose to ignore it to continue his slumber.
“Good morning”, she repeated. Bruno opened only his left eye. His right was still shut in sleeping mode.
As soon as he turned his body to his opposite side, Bruno instantly saw his mother right next to his face. Her arms were standing up straight on the bedside, supporting her calm face. Bruno was obviously caught off guard by seeing his mother first thing in the morning right in front of his face.
“Oh! Mom…”, Bruno grumbled.
He rose from his bed. His sporty-themed orange blanket slid down from his body, revealing his comfy blue pajamas. Bruno rubbed his right eye then stretched his arms right out.
“Why are you here?”, he asked.
His mother scoffed, pulling off an angered expression not long after. “To wake you up for the first day of school? Everyone has been waiting for you! Especially your brother”.
After yawning, Bruno shocked up and realized the day. It was the second of September: The first day of school! Without saying a word, Bruno jumped off his bed and ran right into his closet. Searching for the “perfect outfit”, Bruno spotted his usual attire. It consisted of a red shirt with white stripes running across it and bluish-gray shorts. A simple wardrobe for a simple child. To cap it off: Bruno wears his future signature baseball cap, which is blue. Wearing it backwards makes him look “cooler”, according to him.
Bruno gazed at himself in the mirror, somehow admiring his fashion. For him, what he was wearing was a fashion statement. Upon gazing, however, Piper arrived behind him before Bruno could do anything else. It was obvious that Piper (and everyone else) grew impatient of Bruno’s meticulous habits and routine.
“Come on, Bruno! We don’t have all day!”, Piper moaned
.
“Ok, ok! Yeesh!”, Bruno squeaked.
Bruno and Piper dashed downstairs after Bruno brushed his teeth. There was no time for breakfast considering how late he woke up from his usual routine. Unlike every day, he had to eat on the bus. And all that he had to eat was a single waffle that his mother could prepare. That feared Bruno. He never stepped out of a routine—or his comfort zone for that matter. Eating on a bus was nothing he had ever experienced before. Nonetheless, he promised himself he’d eat quick before anyone could notice.
